The Angel Contreras Studio is committed to the success and holistic development of each student as artists and members of modern society. The current policies and conditions ensure the correct and transparent functioning of the relationship between the students/families and the Studio.

It’s the responsibility of the Teacher and the Studio to provide a clear and consistent schedule; a safe, consistent, and engaging learning space; and advice on how to learn, practice, and how to find resources that may aid the learning process of the Student.

The responsibilities of the Student and the Family include the timely attendance at lessons, being prepared for lessons through consistent daily practice, bringing the instrument, the music, and materials as required by the Instructor, communicate clearly with the Studio about any situation at home or at school that may influence the performance of the student so the Instructor can provide support to the Student and the Family, and the timely payment of the tuition fees as established in the beginning of the term.

If a Student needs to cancel a lesson, they must notify the Studio at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time to guarantee a makeup lesson. If done less than 24 hours before the lesson time, a makeup lesson may not take place, pending on the availability of the Studio. If an Individual Lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson time, the right to have a makeup lesson is forfeited. The lesson will not be refunded. Each Student is entitled to 2 makeup lessons per term.

To stop future monthly payments, a written 2-week notice is required to be sent via email by the student before the end of the month. If the Student or the Studio decides to terminate enrollment before taking all the lessons previously scheduled for the month, the untaken lessons will not be refunded.

The Studio reserves the right to terminate enrollment at any time, with immediate effect, without prior notice, if the Studio considers that the student has violated any of the established policies.
